Bill McMorris is an award-winning journalist and editor with two decades of experience in print, wire service, radio, and television reporting. He served as a senior editor and writer specializing in long-form features. He has covered everything from political campaigns and natural disasters to Supreme Court trials, labor disputes and regulatory developments with detours along the way to embed with circus elephants, Juggalos, and amateur exorcists. He was a Robert Novak fellow with the Phillips Foundation, where he studied state pension shortfalls. His work has been featured on CNN, Fox News, The Economist, Wall Street Journal, The Week, Real Clear Investigations, Daily Beast, The Federalist, National Review, among others. In addition to his work at Touchdown Strategies, he is a contributing editor at The Spectator (World) and The Lamp magazine. A Cornell University graduate, he lives in Alexandria, Va, with his wife and five daughters.
