Jo is a trailblazing entrepreneur, award-winning movie producer, and marketing strategist who has spent two decades at the intersection of digital innovation, public affairs, and entertainment.
Over her career, she led digital and grassroots strategies for political campaigns, Fortune 500 companies, and major PR firms, with her work featured in The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, NPR, CNN, and Good Morning America. As marketing director at Freethink, she orchestrated the largest film screening in history, earning a Guinness World Record.
Jo also founded MovieGoer, a film marketing and distribution company bridging entertainment and advocacy. She has been instrumental in raising over $100 million for cause-driven initiatives through her films.
Her expertise in digital storytelling and audience engagement has taken her to the White House, the United Nations, Google, and Facebook as a speaker. Her upcoming book, America Has a Girlfriend Problem, tackles policy gaps affecting single women and offers a bold, data-driven blueprint for reform.
Jo is a proud alum of Mount Holyoke College, an Aspen Institute Civil Society Fellow, an Advisory Board Member of Bridge Entertainment Labs, and a Leadership Program of the Rockies graduate.
